Ace Media Player is a free media player that will let you listen to and watch music and viideos. In theory, it supports a wide variety of formats, but in tests, we found it hard to use and limited. It looks plain, doesn't support drag and drop, and has a limited system explorer capability, meaning that without serious reorganization of your media collection, you're going to struggle to even have it play something.
